The Festival of Cannes 2023 once again this year it will present a richer and fuller program than ever. For this edition 2023 great are the expectations on the Croisette, especially regarding the fact that, after one edition (that of 2020) canceled and two other editions in which the security measures due to the pandemic were still strong, this year the situation finally seems to have returned to normal.

Anyway, regarding the films in competition, important names on the international film scene will make the task of the jury difficult in deciding who will deserve the coveted Palme d'Or. Among the directors who will preview their latest efforts at this edition of the Cannes Film Festival, indeed, we find, among others, Aki Kaurismaki (Fallen Leaves), Jessica Hausner (after several unsuccessful movie releases with different titles Zero), Hirokazu Kore-eda (Monster), Wes Anderson (Asteroid City), Ken Loach (The old Oak) e Nuri Bilge Ceylan (About dry Grasses), over, obviously, to the Italians Marco Bellocchio (Kidnapped), Alice Rohrwacher (The Chimera) and Nanni Moretti, which is now at home in Cannes and which this year will present in the running for the coveted Palme d'Or The Sol of the future, currently already in Italian cinemas.

In all, in competition in Cannes76, they will be presented well 21 film. Here, right away, all feature films.

Out competition in Cannes76, instead, nine films will be presented, including the opening film of the festival Jeanne of Barry, latest effort by French director Maïwenn and the closing film Elemental, the last, highly anticipated feature film from Pixar, directed by Peter Sohn.

The jury of Cannes76, who will have the difficult task of awarding the Palme d'Or, it will be chaired this year by Ruben Östlund, winner last year of the Palme d'Or for the scratchy Triangle of Sadness. Below, here is the full team.
