With "NOWHERE TO HIDE" The Month of Documentary presents the last film in competition for the audience award of its Fifth Edition. The film Zaradasht Ahmed has won over thirty awards around the world and is considered by the international press one of the most important documentaries of 2016. For the production of the documentary director has followed for five years, the nurse Iraqi Nori Sharif lives, who lives and works in one of the most dangerous areas of the world, the so-called "Triangle of Death". After the withdrawal of international troops, the images of 2011 portray stories of survivors full of hope for the future. When in 2014 ISIS advances and occupies the city of Jalawlah, Nori is also forced to flee with family, and from that moment he decided to shoot himself in the long journey through his country.

The director Zaradasht Ahmed commented: “My ambition is to let the audience reflect on the human consequences of a brutal reality, where all the taboos are violated. With Nowhere to Hide want to show that we are all part of the same reality - war, explosions, victims, terrorism affect us globally and we are all responsible, despite our geographical position. At the same time, I want to show the human resistance that is growing among survivors; show hope of rebuilding after the collapse of civilization. finally, as human, the only thing that can help us survive is to believe that the desire to build will always be stronger than the desire to destroy. "

Now in its fifth edition, The Documentary of the Month is one of the most representative events dedicated to the spread of the Royal Cinema in Italy. A "popular festival" that offers the best of Italian and international documentary production in Rome and in a territorial network involving major Italian cities from north to south of the country.

The title of this new edition is the continent HUMAN.
