The Berlinale is present in the four corners of the world with specially groomed programs in festivals and other cultural events: They are the Berlinale Spotlight. E’ started 24 and up to 26 March with the spotlight on Berlinale: Forum which will be hosted at the Cinémathèque de Tanger in Morocco.
This weekend at the movies Rif in Tangier, six films production from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Israel, Japan, Morocco, Qatar and the United States will give you an idea of the film selection in the section of this year's Forum . The program will open with the documentary Tigmi n Igren (Casa in the Fields) di Tala Hadid, which portrays two sisters who grew up in a village in the Atlas mountains.
Malika Chaghal, director of the Cinémathèque, is pleased that the first Berlinale Spotlight: Forum will coincide with an important milestone for its review in Tangier: "We are celebrating our tenth anniversary with this event. Our audience will have the opportunity to discover the films outside of those distributed to Moroccan cinema. "
