with the collaboration of Murate Art District (MAD), Mus.e, Florence, hereinafter referred to as MAD

WHEREAS

than on 15 April 2019 the Academy and the Association have jointly stipulated and signed a Convention with which "they declare their willingness to activate forms of collaboration and exchange to encourage the proliferation and enhancement of common cultural growth paths in the Florentine and regional territory", and that “such collaborations, to be activated with specific projects, they can relate, by way of example and not exhaustive, activities such as meetings and reviews useful for the training of students and / or teachers " (art, 2);

and that the Academy, the Association and the MAD have positively evaluated the experience of student participation in the 6th Florence FilmCorti Festival organized by the Association since 30 May to 2 June 2019 and who therefore believe they need to organize other significant initiatives together as part of the 7th Florence FilmCorti Festival, despite the very special conditions created by the spread of the COVID19 virus,

INDICATE THE FOLLOWING NOTICE-COMPETITION RESERVED FOR STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS OF FLORENCE AND OF OTHER UNIVERSITY OR HIGHER INSTITUTES

Art. 1 - All students of the Academy and other universities or colleges and film schools are invited, starting from the date of this competition with prizes, to carry out a project, free theme, consisting of a cinematographic work, or a video or a commercial, in order to maximize their creative and technical skills;

Art. 2 - The works must have a maximum duration of minutes 20:00 including credits.

Art. 3 - Students can register their projects by filling in the enclosed application form and sending it to info@rivegauche-festival.eu . Together with the question, duly signed, the work must be sent via a link or directly via We Transfer to the same address; as well as the receipt of the bank transfer of € 20, as a registration fee (IBAN IT25U0306909606100000163709 in the name of Rive Gauche-Festival)

Art. 4 - The works must arrive no later than the hours 23:59 of the 30 September 2020

Art. 5 - The works will be judged by a Jury made up of:

Christian Burgio, actor and director

Donatello Cirone, Founder and Director of the international literary magazine "L’Irrequieto"

Giacomo De Bastiani, Head of the Audiovisual Documentation Center of the Municipality of Pontassieve

Luciano Nocentini, documentary director, CD of Rive Gauche - Festival

Claudia Porrello, journalist and publicist

Stefano Socci, Professor of History of Cinema and Video at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence

The decisions of this jury will be unquestionable.

Art. 6 - The finalist works will be screened, the 29 October at the Academy as part of the initiatives of the aforementioned Festival;

Art. 7 - The prizes to be won are the following:

1Award: A RONIN SC Peripheral Model three-axis DSLR stabilizer: RB2-2450mAh-7.2V

2Prize: Theoretical and technical course at the "National School of Independent Cinema" (it is: course in directing or screenwriting, etc)

3Prize: Theoretical and technical course at the "Anna Magnani" film school in Prato (it is: course in directing or screenwriting, etc)

Art. 8 - The awards will take place on the evening of 30 October at Le Murate MAD on the occasion of the award ceremony of the entire 7th Florence FilmCorti Festival

The dissemination of this notice to students will be carried out by the Press Office of the Association and the Press and Communication Office of the Academy.
