Valmyn supports the reopening of the cinemas and brings LA GOMERA and MARIE CURIE back to the theater, two titles released just before the lockdown and finally available again on the big screen starting from 15 June

Defined by the New York Times as "A cinephile divertissement between Tarantino and the Coen Brothers", La GOMERA - THE ISLAND OF WHISTLES, successfully presented in Cannes, Toronto, Turin and Trieste, is the latest film by Corneliu Porumboiu.

An ambiguous policeman, a bewitching femme fatale, and a mysterious language spoken by the inhabitants of a wild island: Porumboiu (Golden camera in Cannes for the film East of Bucharest) he plays with cinematographic genres and subverts them, mixing police, noir, western and comedy, to tell a story of characters who lie, in a game of continuous power.

Cristi is an inspector of the Bucharest police who loves to play on both sides of the law. Gilda, wily and irresistible woman, it involves him in a multimillion-dollar coup, but soon the two will find themselves having to solve a puzzle of unpredictable deceptions and betrayals.
