The emergency Coronavirus forces us at this time to stay at home: Vision Academy in Rome organized an international festival involving filmmakers from around the world, that can make a short film shot entirely in house, by any means, even with a cell phone. The festival has been included within FilmFreeway, the world's leading portal in connecting filmmakers with leading film events, Official sponsors of the Orlando Film Festival 2020.
La Vision Academy, organizer of the event offers a first prize of 200 Euros to the winner. A jury of experts will select the film industry 20 works that will receive special recognition and will be broadcast live on a web 31 May. 15/05/2020 Date by which the selected works and the winning work will be notified
31/05/2020 Date will broadcast the event live on the web, with the transmission of 20 selected works
27/09/2020 Date in which will be screened at the Cinema Multiplex Madison Rome the works of the first 5 classified
All selection and awarding operations will take place online, There will then be an event broadcast via web 31 May 2020 the 5 selected works will later be screened at the Cinema Multiplex Madison Rome 27 September 2020.
REGULATION
- The maximum duration allowed is 10 minutes including titles;
- The format must be compulsorily horizontal, the minimum resolution must be Full-HD (1920×1080 pixel) a 24 o 25fps (preferably 25fps);
- works of any kind are permitted, preferring to issues related to coronavirus and shooting must be carried out at home;
- The dialogues must be in Italian or English. All the works in other languages must have subtitles in Italian or English (preferably in Italian);
- It is not required a state premier, then the work may also participate in other competitions and may be published online;
- The filmmaker may be of any age and nationality;
- To compete it is expected to pay a registration fee of 10 Euro;
- The filmmaker can also enroll more of a work. In this case, you must pay the registration fee for each submitted work;
- The filmmaker says that all content, including the soundtrack is free of copyright;
- The jury's decisions on selected works and work are unquestionable winner;
- Entry to the festival implies the complete acceptance of the present Regulation;
- Any points not covered by this Regulation, Organizer they have competence (Vision Academy), while any dispute, the competent Court of Rome.
