A FAIR ON THE NEW FRONTIERS OF NOIR at Palazzo GIL, via Milano 15 Campobasso 26 – 31 August 2019
KISS ME DEADLY, The festival was born in 2015 to explore the new frontiers of noir, returns this year, from 26 al 31 August, GIL Palace on the terrace with a program of experiences and visions at heavily black hues, thriller e pulp.
The event - an event conceived and produced by the Cultural Kiss Me Deadly and produced by the Molise Culture Foundation, under the patronage of Lucca Comics & Games - will open with the premiere of THE UNITED Rodrigo Sorogoyen, extraordinary political noir winner 7 Goya Award. The film photographing the dramatic last season of the old party politics and aberrations with an anxiety-provoking thriller that plunges the player in an increasingly dark night.
For MEETINGS WITH COMICS, Valerio Varesi, creator of detective adventures of Soneri Commissioner will talk about the yellow as "reality soundings mechanism".
While the investigative journalist Fabio Sanvitale will present his documentary Pasolini, poetry and blood, in which one returns to investigate, a new perspective, the murder of the writer and director; Writing Crime is the title of his evening meeting with the public while in the afternoon workshop will introduce us to the "Investigative Journalism: What is it and how do you ".
The presentation of the Guide to the noir fiction by Walter Catalano complete proposals dedicated to genre literature.
For the traditional section COMICS, curated by Andrea Fornasiero, we will host Maurizio Lacavalla that will tell us his comic book Two expectations, dreamlike investigation of a man mysteriously disappeared where the Second World War is the background to the plot.
Daniele Bigliardo, founder of the Italian School of Comix, we will talk instead of stories drawn for Dylan Dog and comic adaptations of novels by Maurizio de Giovanni dedicated to the Commissioner Ricciardi.

EYES ON THE NOIR is the largest exhibition of the V edition, dedicated to the epic movie lobby cards of film noir and curated by the collector and critic Paul Zelati, that will guide the audience through the story, artists and anecdotes about the film posters. Occasion rare to revisit the faces of the greatest protagonists of the classic noir of the season: da Humphrey Bogart a Barbara Stanwyck, da Lauren Bacall a Robert Mitchum.
Absolute novelty of the event is the first original production of Kiss Me Deadly, The project PULPmanzo, Manuel Civitillo with Massimo Di Nonno shots, in collaboration with the Center for Vivian Maier Photography of Campobasso: during the week of the event will be made a picture story noir 70's style, all set in Campobasso, which will then be printed and distributed, an issue from Limited Collector, the closing day.
BIRTH OF A PULPmanzo, is the backstage that will be built by Matteo Blanco to photo shoots and that will be screened on the last evening.
