We propose now what were we believe the best five films seen in Venice, and the best Italian films.

The War Show can be said is the best movie of all time of year 2016 because it goes straight to the heart of the audience and why was shot with makeshift but catapults us into civil war ravaging Syria for almost a decade without that face world something concrete for the Syrian people. Indeed the conflict "is used" for domain mire of world powers. The Venice Days are still young but they give space to works of art like this.

Also the WEEK OF CRITICISM is no different and presented

among others the poetic and universal AKHER WAHED FINA (THE LAST OF US) Tunisian Ala Eddine Slim. This time the biblical migration from the east and from the south crossing the Sahara desert before and the Mediterranean after a starting point for something that goes beyond the countless human stories that the news we slam in your face every day. And 'the journey of a man with no name. From Africa to an unnamed area. E 'was honored with the Award for a First De Laurentis.

In second place unfortunately OUT OF COMPETITION the doc Austerlitz by Sergei Loznitsa. The director, like many others of this edition used the black and white to represent a symbol of absolute evil places because they do not happen again. Are a number of paintings in which fixed the goal keeps track of the behavior of visitors in front of so many atrocities. In this digital age it is unfortunately no place for selfies, perhaps in front of the crematoria, but no place more for the horrified face of so much barbarity. Now the Director Barbera stressed the peculiarity that unites the selected filmmakers to use the indirect form. It is this the case in which the fixed frame technique forces the viewer to reflect inexorably to those events of the recent past, yet so current such as precisely the Syrian conflict treated by The War Show.

In fourth place from the official selection the highly acclaimed Paradise by

Andrei Konchalovsky an interweaving of three stories that intersect in the absolute evil devastation of the last century: Olga, Jules and Helmut. Film is shot entirely in black and white. however, it suffers from a certain melodramatic air that makes you lose the initial force. The film received a stand ovation from the audience in the Great Hall in the presence of the director and the beautiful female interpreter. As we foresaw got the Silver Lion.

Finally for Orizzonti a very current film on the relationship of adults towards an adolescence devoid of ideals that turns into boredom and violence to release the adrenaline. It is Home di Fien Troch which tells of two generations in conflict. The arrival of a young seventeen out of the house of correction causes tearing of delicate (I'd say silly) family balance. But there is also unhealthy relationship with a single mother with John her only son. The tragedy looming in the spectator who suddenly finds himself horrified to come to terms with his conscience Parenthood. And if it happened to me?

Unfortunately, as happens every year after Venice is not yet known whether some of these can expect distributed in Italy.
As for the Italian feature films judgment will be partial because we have seen half (otto). As we said the Italians in

contest show a certain retreat on themselves both in form and content, one for all these days by Giuseppe Piccioni which went the Smile Award Unlike Venice 2016 – Ass Ucl for Best Italian Film ex aequo The greatest dream of Michele Vannucci. A whole other story in the Orizzonti section where Federica Di Giacomo was rightly awarded for the best direction with Liberami  documentary film about exorcism in the contemporary world. He pauses with his gaze "from outside" on the saving work of  Father Cataldo an exorcist friar who works in Sicily, where it is among the most sought. History of the practice exorcism with daily life, where the contrasts between ancient and contemporary, religious and profane will be the more disturbing traits and at times hilarious.  But in the background

the malaise of human lives in search of themselves. A film about how religion can be experienced. Other films of equal importance present in the autonomous SIC section 31 is INDIVISIBLE by Edoardo De Angelis which has obtained an excellent consensus and has been awarded both the FEDIC Award and the Francesco Pasinetti - SNGCI Award for Best Film with a special mention for the actors Angela and Marianna Fontana. film lashing, disturbing and Pasolini but emphasizes excessively on a certain clergy acquiescent with the Camorra. Besides the amazing interpretation of "twin" Fontana finds himself a cameo with Peppe Servillo who embodies the good part in the fragmented society of the Domitian coast. Directed and interpretation are impeccable less precisely certain exaggerations that do not add much to the high artistic content. Unfortunately Indivisibili found himself competing with powerful films such as The War Show winner at the Venice Days which, as we said at the beginning, is the best film ever in Venice 2016! In this regard it is right Gianluca Giannelli Alice in the Cities, autonomous selection of the Rome Film Fest presented today at the Casa del Cinema, when it criticizes certain "muggings" of Venice to the detriment of the young Roman festival. We feel that it is a concrete example Indivisible along with Marco Danieli film The Girl in the World.
