express all their satisfaction with “the quality of 30 documentary projects presented before over 40 international experts and for the participation of more 140 Italian and foreign professionals. But above all for the event's ability to go beyond the scope of a professional meeting, strengthening the relationship with the city, with over a thousand spectators involved in the three days of open screenings at the Rouge et Noir cinema, which once again highlight the public's growing interest in the documentary genre".
But also Alessandro Rais, Director of Sicily Film Commission, expresses full satisfaction "for the high quality of the professional meetings – in which the numerous international experts present at the Palermo days offered valid teachings to young participants from all over Europe and also concrete production support for the development of some qualified projects by Sicilian authors – as much as for the success of the important national previews offered to the city public on the screening evenings, which also hosted the first ever screening of the only Italian film awarded this year in Venice, “Liberami”, filmed in Palermo with the support of the Sicilia Film Commission, and directed with courage and intelligence by the talented Federica Di Giacomo".
