UMBRIA FILM FESTIVAL: A MONTONE (PERUGIA) FROM THE TWENTIETH EDITION 6 AL 10 JULY 2016

Two Oscar winners among the guests: Tom Hooper e Rachel Portman, but Laura Carmichael Downton Abbey, Lone Scherfig, Chanya Button of Ghita Nørby.

Among the films presented, opens the festival, Wednesday 6 July, the film Burn Burn Burn, di Positive Button, starring among others by actress Laura Carmichael English, It is known by the general public for her role as Lady Edith Crawley in Downton Abbey TV series, who will attend the screening accompanied by the director of the film. Thursday 7 July will then be screened, after the usual short films for children, one of which, Marathon Diary, He will be presented by the director Hanne Berkaak, projection dellungometraggio From Nowhere, in Matthew Newton. Friday 8 July, hand over the keys of the City to the British director Tom Hooper, He won the Academy Award for Best Director for the award-winning The King's Speech, but also the author of films such as Red Dust, The Damned United and The Danish Girl, films that will be screened in his honor. The evening will also be the opportunity to watch the shorts competition Umbriametraggi, dedicated to Umbrian directors or living in Umbria.
