LIBERO CINEMA IN LIBERA TERRA 2020, MAFIA, CORRUPTION AND NEW RIGHTS UNDER THE SPOTLIGHTS
The fifteenth edition of the Libero Cinema in Libera Terra festival has started, promoted by Cinemovel and Libera.

In the evenings of the 14, 15 e 16 July starts with a new format the 15th edition of the festival. The screen lights up in a virtual square, that of MYmovies, to dedicate reflections and stories to the rights of our new world.

The Libero Cinema festival in Libera Terra, promoted by Cinemovel and Libera, does not stop and in the year of its fifteenth edition is renewed, presenting a new formula, new logo and new initials, to keep the spotlight on mafias and corruption, indispensable action to promote the construction of a new humanism founded on the affirmation of universal rights.

Rights to the New World: Free Cinema Meet, the new format
From Tuesday 14 on Thursday 16 July the festival turns on the screen in the virtual square of MYmovies, media partner of the festival, already with the Cinemovel Foundation for the Schermi in Classe initiative – #iorestoacasa.
The 14 July, opening night, will have as its protagonist Luigi Ciotti. At the center of the debate is the topic, today more urgent than ever, educational poverty. The evenings of the 15 e 16 July will be dedicated to Latin America and Africa, with connections from the two continents almost completely disappeared from the information "radar". In the three evenings of July, before the screening of the films, the Festival proposes the format "Rights to the new world: Libero Cinema meets ", an interactive space conducted by Enrico Fontana, with interviews with personalities from social life, cultural and economic situation in various countries, that will help us to "read" what is happening around us, to imagine a fairer and fairer society and to re-know the dignity of each individual and his centrality in each new design; an opportunity to broaden our gaze to those people and those places, that today it is necessary to put back in the center.

The appointments of September for the return to the territories

LIBERO CINEMA MEETS CLASS SCREENS
Also this year the 15th edition of Libero Cinema in Libera Terra will be a moment of meeting and comparison for the 1.500 students who participate in Class Screens every year / Ethics Free Beauty, a project by Cinemovel and Libera, selected by Miur and MiBACT as good practice within the National Cinema Plan for schools. It is a cinematic journey that carries on the experience started in April when, during the lockdown, Cinemovel and Libera launched #IORESTOACASA with Schermi in Classe, in collaboration with Mymovies.it.
10.000 students attended the free viewing of 4 film, accompanied by the virtual confrontation with the directors Davide Barletti, Davide Ferrario, Daniele Gaglianone and Daniele Vicari.
Libero Cinema in Libera Terra also becomes a megaphone to give voice to territories and students from all over Italy, that never as in this moment need new spaces of sociality and confrontation to exercise the values of active and democratic citizenship.
