The last Masterclass of the season 2015 /2016 CITYFEST will be held tonight on Monday 18 April.After the success of the previous appointments with Sergio Castellitto, Francesca Archibugi, Franco Battiato, Matteo Garrone, Radu Mihaileanu, Monday 18 April at 21 at the Cinema My Cityplex Savoy there will be a masterclass which will feature Rocco Papaleo who besides being an actor is also a director, musician, comic. The event falls within the scope of CityFest, The program of cultural events of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma chaired by Piera Detassis.
The Lucanian artist will meet the public and comment with Mario Sesti, responsible for the special projects of CityFest, the video sequences that will retrace his long career: During the years, Papaleo showed extraordinary versatility, moving with ease among the comic professions, stand-up comedian, author, musician, finding success in the cinema first as an interpreter for Leonardo Pieraccioni, Francesca Archibugi, Paolo Virzì, Giovanni Veronesi and then as director of Basilicata Coast to Coast. The evening will take place in collaboration with Combo Produzioni. CityFest's activity is realized thanks to the Founding Members of the Cinema per Roma Foundation, Rome capital city, Lazio region, Chamber of Commerce, Istituto Luce Cinecittà (representing the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism), Musica per Roma Foundation, Metropolitan city of Rome Capital, with the support of BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas and thanks to the contribution of Acea SPA.
