As of introduction of this second part we publish a moment of EFM an integral part of the Festival. In the second part we explore the events of Talents and meetings with 100 selected youth including seven Italians. We want to once again remember our magnificent seven that we hope to see again in the limelight. For the segment of the three names manufacturing: Antonietta Bruni, Jon Coplon and Roberto De Paolis Marino. For new promises in the field of filmmaking are three young: Francesco Meran, Enrico Maria Artale and John Aloi. Finally also an actor Koudous Jeihon. Distinguished personalities from the international film world have been participating as a tutor or master class to over 30 events.
As for the side sections Panorama, Forum, PDK and the autonomous Generation plus e Kplus, having privileged the Official Selection which has been dedicated to the first part of the guide Special Berlinale I ^ part, we chose some titles outsiders to better understand the spirit of this 66th edition. We have not exactly hit the mark, but we came close. In fact, four of the twenty-five popular films were chosen by juries of collateral Awards. of the sections Generation e Perspektive Deutsches Kino we have limited ourselves to a few stocks. We have instead followed the part dedicated to Short. In particular the 50 Panorama films of the side sections (who presented a film in collaboration with Generation is included in the latter) e Panorama documents we have seen 10 e 5 respectively (including the two MasterClass of Talents). Of the selection Forum 44 films we have seen 8 (including MasterClass of Talents). Of the 12 projections of the Perspektive Deutsches Kino we have seen two. For the Generation 14plus 15 competition films we have seen two. We recovered El Abrazo del Serpiente presented among native events, already passed in Cannes 2015.
Finally we could not miss the Master Class di Meryl Streep in the field of Talents focused on interpersonal relationships with the various figures with whom he worked during his long career as an actress and president of the International Jury. It 'was a resounding success with an audience ready to applaud the great artist who has the uncommon qualities of humility and dell'autoironia. But the three screenings of their youth in competition and Q&In the succession they have had a good and deserved public audience:
Panamericana machinery (Panamerican Machinery) di Joaquín del Paso, Mexico / PL.
Uncle Howard in Aaron Brookner UK / USA;
Wu Tu (My Land) Fan Jian - China;
So let's look at the films that have won and our ranking of 25 films views between the 107 feature films including 88 Gender and 19 doc presented in sections Panorama, Forum, PDK and autonomous sections of the Berlinale Generation 2016 and emotions that have managed to suscitarci.

Ranking:
The first ones, the last in Bouli Lanners. The fear of, the sense of

divine in a film from the western flavor. The two young men who flee? We talk about end of the world in an apocalyptic journey on the rubble deliver us from humans. Remarkable interpretations of Michael Lonsdale is that of David Murgia in the shoes of one of the two young men on the run. A film that we

would like to see in Italian cinemas, and with good reason convinced the jury Ecumenicale.

The Istanbul Road di Rachid Bouchareb. A story of the relationship between parents and children. The last frontier of adolescent awkwardness is the sharia shared to the point of joining the jadisti. But a determined mother can make a difference to save his daughter from the black hole. Istanbul has become ominously not only the crossroads of those who run away from war towards Old Europe, but also of the loose cannon of young Europeans who want to join to fight under the banner Isis. Sorry that having to compete with other well-structured films has reached the approval of critics and spectators.
Mother there is only one (Don’t Call me Son) Anna Muylaert. You can get up to

18 years and discover that their mother is not the biological? What we have been stolen by deception to the natural family and our sister she was kidnapped? The drama of a teenager who escapes the Law of Family and returns it to the biological family taken from their self-interest and that reisce to accept it for what it is. A hilarious drama that leaves you breathless and in fact the audience rewarded him. E 'was great to hear how the music of Lucio Battisti tail titles in version Brasiliera interpret my free hand.

You'll never be alone (You’ll Never Be Alone) di Alex Anwandter. A complaint to the violence they face in Santiago gay youth. Unfortunately it is not fiction, but the reality.
King eleven in Daniel Burman. The protagonist is facing a return to the neighborhood where he lived as a teenager and where Jewish traditions are still heard and that the then divided by the kosher butcher father. A bizarre and extravagant way of making known to the Gentiles the Torah with which the same protagonist does not have much dimistichezza.
Already, Olga Hepnarová di Tomas Weinreb, Petr Kazda. An unlikely story in the communist era in Czechoslovakia of a young girl with psychic disorders. Victim of the regime and the death penalty. Shareable the choice of black and white film in this symbol of the new Czech film.
Maggie’s Plan Rebecca Miller. A young nerdy and awkward is the focus of this story that tells her about heterologous fertilization. Julianne Moore is wasted in this comedy that is built to please everyone.
War on Everyone di John Michael McDonagh. Due detective, they are the reincarnation of Starsky & Hatch of the third millennium. But even this kind of story attracts audience with the rhythm and the music.
Shelley Ali Abbasi. Another story of heterologous fertilization from the dark and sad tones. Not everything goes as you planned. The pace is too slow waiting for something to happen.
Starve Your Dog di Hicham Lasri. Experimental Cinema set in Morocco. surreal visions that confused the same filmmaker in the depths of a vision / non vision.

Ranking:
Wu Tu (My Land) di Fan Jian (Talents). A film about China and Beijng where there is not only the double-digit growth but also extreme poverty and composed of so many families torn country life. The author will make a long way and it

We hear more about.

Hotel Dallas Livia Ungur, Sherng-Lee Huang. A glittering American location reminiscent of the TV series' 80 years. A hotel of the same name in the post-Communist Romania and its owner sentenced for tax fraud. Find the brilliant director to debunk the myth of the West and summary justice inflicted on the Romanian dictator. Nostalgia for the communist past?
Europe, She Loves in Jan Gassmann. parallel stories of young couples around Europe. Faces disenchanted, wasted lives, it goes on and perhaps it is this lack that grips the viewer, but what the director wants to represent?
Uncle Howard in Aaron Brookner (Talents). A gentle reminder of his uncle who died prematurely of AIDS. Who knows what he could express. As well built debut, but it is a film dedicated to a limited audience target.

Ranking:
homo sapiens di Nikolaus Geyrhalter. A sublime documentary where the word is up to the images and only images with the accompaniment of the sounds of nature. There are many Fukoshima scattered across the globe and this film documents all.
Storm di Tatiana Huezo. Two parallel stories for women in the land occupied by Mexican drug cartels. But not for this very delicate and amazing shooting. The duration is the one that hurts the film.
Panamericana machinery (Panamerican Machinery) di Joaquín del Paso

(Talents). As the first work by a Talent we can not complain. A noir built on a social reality where the wellfare was destroyed by unbridled capitalism represented with a fine metaphor . In a factory where no one knows what it produces, dies suddenly the owner and benefactor. All workers are implants to defend their workplace with even surreal effects. The final will discover it in the room.

Never alone (We Are Never Alone) Petr Vaclav. This black comedy Czech has had a success with good reason. Built on parallel stories of two families of any one country to the Czech border. The new Czech cinema is in great turmoil.

P.S. Jerusalem Danae Elon. beloved land of Israel and hated by many citizens as a director who like expatriate. The contradictions of a nation that still fails to establish peaceful relations with its Palestinian neighbors in a very intimate doc.
Triviṣa di Frank Hui, Vicky Wong, In Jevons. A flaming history of gangs in Hong Kong facing each other for dominance of the territory and drug trafficking. The new Asian cinema is in first place for this kind which supplanted the genre of martial arts in fashion in the 80's.
Deadweight di Axel Koenzen. Documentary made aboard a maxi merchantable container door. A separate world where men survive the vicissitudes and the unexpected of going to sea.
fireHee di Kaori Momoi. A psychiatric shocking story of a woman and her obsessions and memories. But where is the truth? Gender unusual and disturbing for the Japanese cinema.
The Son of Joseph (The Son of Joseph)in Eugène Green. Some liked, but I must state that did not get permission. Maybe it was too erudite?

Research Refugees: exchange of views (Research Refugees: duologue) di Sophia Boesch, Sophie lines tree Experimental Doc 4 '. The different that comes from far away always afraid. A common place to defeat in this moment of epochal migration.
We learn now that the last failed Heinz Badewitz, co-founder and director of the Hof International Film Festival last 10 March 2016, important figure in the panorama of German film festival. A filmmaker and a patron of German film but also a good friend and professional associate of the Berlinale. from 1977 al 2010 He oversaw the PDK series, presenting productions to an international audience during the festival period. In 2001, He was awarded the Berlinale Camera.
With the death of Heinz Badewitz, The Berlinale has lost a longtime associate and German cinema has lost one of its most passionate customers. Today it would be unthinkable without his pioneering efforts that German films can be shown in our festival. I've lost a wonderful colleague and a personal friend of long standing, from which I learned that when you do a festival, you need to stay calm, he has declared Dieter Kosslick, director of the International Film Festival of Berlin.

Ranking:

Zhaleikadi Eliza Petkova. In the remote village in the world of young people today it is so far from the traditions of the elders. Even the protagonist is so and the only salvation is to escape from a situation that is getting closer. For the universal message sending in the room received a Special Mention.

Even in a dream! (In Your Dreams!) di Petr Oukropec. This Czech film between the three views in Berlin is the one that let us down. But perhaps it is true that the Czech youth has lost every ideal and takes refuge in extreme myths.

At the end of the event the look on World Berlinale 2016 He left us many beautiful emotions but especially those of Homo Sapiens - on the trail of modern Human remains, The di CDs, Les Derniers - this time on the World rubble, the bitter taste of Wu You (My Land) and happiness Golden Bear awarded by the jury chaired by Meryl Streep to Gianfranco Rosi with FUOCOAMMARE with the hope that we reflect on welcoming all the other then that is our brother on Mother Earth.
