Allah is Not Obliged Din Zovers Najjar, Taken from the homonymous book by Ahmadou Kouroum - WIP 2024 (Belgium, Canada, France, Luxembourg) – “For its first feature film, Zaven Najjar has accepted the challenge of adapting the novel by Ahmadou Koureuma, Allah is Not Obliged. A difficult company, Given the raw and unusual language of the book, that the director manages to preserve in this first -person narrative of a soldier child.”
A Magnificent Life the Sylvain Chometer, treated of the Marceol Confires. (France, Luxembourg, Belgium) - release date 15 October 2025 – Wild Bunch Distribution – “Sylvain Chomet returns with this feature film dedicated to Marcel Pagnol. It is a real pleasure to review the director's sophisticated graphics, which for the first time uses dialogues to capture Marseille musical accent.”
Arco of ugo bienn (France) – “Faithful to its graphic style, Ugo Bienvenu offers us a surprising first science fiction feature for the whole family, in which a child of 10 years welcomes a boy of the same age from the future.” The film was a guest at the last #Cannes78 festival (Review)
- ChaO In Yasuhiro Aoki (Japan) – “This imaginative story comes from Japan, with its decisive graphic style and bold colors, who remember a bit’ Masaaki Yuasa e Taiyō Matsumoto.”
Dandelion’s Odyssey At Momoko Seto - Wip 2024 (Belgium, France) - exit 2026 - Gebeka films – “It is an euphemism to say that Momoko Seto's debut feature film was expected with impatience! We are pleased to find that, From the first seconds of the film, We were fascinated by these original images, A wise mixture of scientific recovery techniques and digital animation. Like tarassaco seeds, We launch ourselves on a strange and dangerous journey…” This film was also a guest at #Cannes78 per week of critics and received the Fipresci Prize (Review)
Death Does Not Exist Di Félix Dufour-Laperrière-WIP 2024 (Canada, France) – “Félix Dufour-Laperrière, awarded in the selection of Contrechamp in 2021 With Archipel, Back to Annecy with his third feature film. Visually stunning, The film immerses us in the torments of a young woman tormented by the sense of guilt following an aggression that ended badly.” Also this guest movie at #Cannes78 in the Quinzaine section (Review)
Into the Mortal World di Zhong Ding (China) – “This is yet another demonstration of the exceptional competence of Chinese film studies. Into the mortal world is designed for all public, A spectacular and fun movie, rich in action and emotions.”
Little Amélie or the Character of Rain V Cafe of the Valley of Han., Based on the character of Amélie Nothomb's rain - WIP 2023 (France) - release date 25 June 2025 - High and short – “For their first feature film, Maïlys Vallade and Liane-Cho Han have adapted the novel by Amélie Nothomb with finesse and sensitivity. An extraordinary work, animated both by the magical screenplay and from the music of Mari Fukuhara, which will conquer an audience of all ages.” Presented to #Cannes78 (Review)
- Olivia and the Invisible Earthquake Di Irene Iborra, Taken from the work of Maite Carnza La Vie Est a movie - WIP 2024 (Belgium, Chile, Spain, France) - release date 21
January 2026 - KMBO – “One of the great surprises of the selection! Only stop-motion feature film in official competition, Olivia and the Invisible Earthquake is aimed at children with intelligence and skills, facing an essential social reality without meanness or sentimentality.”
The Last Blossom In Baku Kinoshita - Wip 2024 (Japan) – “The Last Blossom is set in the criminal world of Yakuza and evokes the atmosphere of some Takeshi Kitano films (Doing-bi, Sonatine). An opportunity to discover a truly unique director, Baku Kinoshita.”

Benals Di Giovanni Columbutu (Italy) – “A delicious discovery, This unique film follows two children in the Sardinian countryside of the 1940s. A touching and compelling experience thanks to its interesting theme and its experimental form.”
- Endless Cookie by Seth write and Pete write (Canada) – “Seth writer presented us asphalt Watches in competition in 2014, And this year he returns with Endless Cookie, Co-Diretto with the half-brother Pete write. With a bursting and humorous style, The film parallels the differences between the experiences of the two brothers, one white and the other native.”

Lesbian Space Princess by Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese (Australia) – “This extravagant comedy comes to us from Australia, where the title already says everything. Directed by Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese, Lesbian Space Princess is at the same time delicious and surprising.” Presented at Panorama of the #Berlinal75
- Memory Hotel the Heinrich Soble (Germany, France) – “In his debut feature film, strongly stylized, German director Heinrich Sabl transports us to 1945, In a strange hotel where little Sophie meets horrors, loses memory and finds it, while the tragedy of the story is consumed around her.”
- Nimuendajú In Tania Anaya (Brazil, Peru) – “From Brazil comes this extraordinary biographical film about Curt Unckel, The famous German ethnologist and writer, nicknamed Nimuendajú from the people Guarani in 1906. Director Tania Anaya manages to capture this man's profound commitment, direct witness of the persecutions suffered by the natives.”

Space Cadet In Eric San, alias kid koala, adapts its graphic novel (Canada) – “The protagonist is heavenly, The orphaned daughter of a famous astronaut, Raised by a guardian robot and in turn intended for space exploration. A film for the whole family that addresses the theme of memory.” Animation presented at the #Berlinal75 in the Generation Kplus section
Tales from the Magic Garden In David Singau, Patrik Pašš, Leon Vidmar, Jean-Claude Rozec (Czech Republic, France, Slovakia, Slovenia). Spring output 2026 - Gebeka films – “Four directors from four countries join forces to create a set of stories that highlight the imagination. We are almost surprised to find so much cohesion in this children's movie, whose same genesis shows that, through different origins and cultures, collaboration and understanding are possible.”
The Great History of Western Philosophy by air covamonas (Mexico) – “Aria Covamonas, Inclassifiable director, It is openly served by several great historical figures to create a delusional satire, made of collage from surrealist tones.”
