The exhibition curated by SudTitles arrives in Palermo 3 and the 4 February to Cinema De Seta
A 50 years after the first pass by Roberto Rossellini in Tunisia for the filming of one of his last films, Acts of the Apostles, the
fledgling Tunisian Film Library, organizes I travel to italy with the CINEMA Tunisian, five stages in five Italian cities under the banner of classic and contemporary Tunisian film. A traveling exhibition that will take place between January and February 2018, brainchild of the Tunisian director Mohammed Challouf and designed for communicating two countries so close both culturally and geographically.
The stage program includes the screening of Palermo 4 feature films including some classics of Tunisian cinema, screened in their versions recently restored, but also more recent films that deal with themes such as Italian emigration in Tunisia and film history of Africa through a portrait of Tunisian director Tahar Cheriaa and the most important representatives of African cinema.

documentary about the Italian community in North Africa, preceded by short films by Enrico Montalbano and Laura Verduci, Marinette returns home e Kif Kif , Siciliani Tunisia. The initiative aims to strengthen future exchanges between the fledgling Tunisian film library and three of the most important Italian film archives centers. The Milan Italian film library, The National Cinematheque of Rome and the Sicilian Regional Film Library. But also to involve really as Moltivolti who has been working on the integration of the different communities within the district Ballaro, to strengthen dialogue between Sicily and the Maghreb countries.
